Plaque Dedication at Saul Leiter’s East Village Home

On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 6pm, a plaque dedication ceremony will be held outside Saul Leiter’s longtime home at 111 East 10th Street in New York City’s East Village, sponsored by the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation. It will be the society’s twenty-fourth plaque unveiling; existing plaques mark the former homes of celebrated figures such as James Baldwin, Charles Mingus, and Frank O’Hara, along with sites including the former NAACP headquarters and the Fillmore East. Pre-register here to attend.
