Permissions

The Saul Leiter Foundation receives many reproduction requests. We make every effort to respond to legitimate inquiries in a timely fashion.

Reproduction requests should be emailed to info@saulleiterfoundation.org. Please supply all relevant details for the project (publisher or agent, size of print run, uses in promotion, etc.), along with preferred file format and dimensions/resolution. Be sure to include any deadline information. If the project involves a publication, please note the countries in which the book or magazine will be sold or distributed.

Please be aware that Leiter images: 

• May not be cropped

• May not be altered in color or contrast

• May not be written over with text

A draft of all image usage must be approved by the Saul Leiter Foundation prior to publication.

Fees for commercial use will apply.

THE COPYRIGHT FOR ALL SAUL LEITER IMAGES IS HELD BY THE SAUL LEITER FOUNDATION AND PROTECTED BY U.S. AND INTERNATIONAL COPYRIGHT LAWS. IMAGES MAY NOT BE USED WITHOUT PERMISSION IN WRITING.
