Howard Greenberg Gallery is presenting a new online exhibition, The World Is Full of Endless Things: Saul Leiter’s New York.
During these challenging and uncertain times, the show celebrates the idea of creating art within your own personal environment.
“Leiter found inspiration all around him in his neighborhood, and never lacked for subject matter; he consistently discovered magic in the mundane,” the accompanying text reads. Saul Leiter’s New York includes color photographs—indeed most of them shot within a few blocks of Leiter’s home in the East Village—and paintings.
